Chatty Benches

Prompting everyone to share friendly greetings...
Attaching a friendly sign (aka chatty bench or happy to chat sign) to an existing or new outdoor public seat is a good way to encourage social engagement.Â
We have designed our own friendly signs (suitable for benches and tables etc.) as shown in the below image and we simply encourage charities and agencies with a health and wellness brief to create and distribute similar friendly signs.
Our friendly signs promote friendly gestures (smiles and hellos that can lead onto chatting) that help to make a more friendly and healthy community. Our signs should appeal to everyone supportive of building more friendly and healthy communities.
Click here for our recommended aliexpress supplier of very affordable custom designed pvc signs the size of business cards (you could consider larger signs if your budget allows).
We urge authorities to support having such friendly signs attached to selected outdoor public benches. The friendly signs are small (business card size) but they make a big difference for good (prompting friendly gestures that make neighbourhoods more friendly and healthy). Supporters are encouraged to implement the concept within their own neighbourhoods (please retain our web address to spread the concept).
