HOW RU?

HOW RU (howru.org) is a wellness initiative (greetings ministry) prompting friendly people to share friendly greetings printed on: signs for cafe tables/ signs for public benches/ apparel/ posters. Greeting one another is extremely important for the following reasons:

• Acknowledging one another is the first sign that we care about one another...

• Acknowledging one another is good for our mutual mental health...

• Ignoring one another is detrimental to our mutual mental health...

Some suitable friendly greetings are:

What is the link with faith?

Most major faiths acknowledge the greatest commandment articulated by Jesus Christ saying: 

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Greeting one another is the first stage of showing that we care about one another. Such concern and care for one another is at the teaching core of most major faiths.
